Privacy policy

The short version
This is an event information site with no accounts or on-site checkout. No third-party tracking loads until you accept it. If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity to understand visits and ticket interest. If you decline, none of them load at all — we keep only an anonymous count of which pages were viewed, described below, which sets nothing on your device and goes to no one but us. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control we record nothing whatsoever. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details, or purchase values from this website.
What measurement records
With your consent, the tags can record page views, the page path, browser and device information, referral or campaign information, interest in event areas such as EDM music, Korean food, Kids Zone, or tickets, and clicks to approved external sites. Opening Tixr records outbound ticket intent and may be labeled InitiateCheckout. It is not a purchase, sale, or revenue event.
Session recording and heatmaps
Microsoft Clarity is different from the other tools and deserves its own note: with your consent it records how you move through a page, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and rage clicks, and replays that session for us as a heatmap or recording. This site has no forms or sign-in, so there are no fields for it to capture. We use it to find confusing layouts, not to identify individuals. Microsoft states that Clarity should not be used on experiences directed at people under 18; Chimac Fest is an all-ages event, so if this page is being read by or for a minor, please decline measurement. Declining, or sending Global Privacy Control, stops Clarity from loading.
The two levels, and how anonymous each one is
We want to be precise rather than reassuring, because the two levels are genuinely different. The anonymous count always runs unless you send Global Privacy Control. It records only which page was viewed, which section it belongs to, and whether an external link was opened, plus the hour it happened. It sets nothing on your device — no cookie, no stored identifier of any kind — it goes only to our own server, and we deliberately discard your IP address and browser details, so it cannot be traced to you or linked to anything else you did. That means we can count how many people opened the ticket page; we cannot tell that one person did two things. If you accept, the four named providers are added, and that level is not anonymous: each sets a cookie identifying your browser and receives your IP address, browser and device details, and the page address. Meta and TikTok are advertising platforms and can match that against their own logged-in accounts, and Microsoft sets an identifier it uses across its own services. So that level is pseudonymous, not anonymous. Declining removes it entirely, and the site works exactly the same either way.
Third-party services on this site
Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics 4 without a second Google page-view installation. Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel support advertising measurement, and Microsoft Clarity supports session replay as described above. Adobe Fonts serves the display font, and Adobe counts font loads. YouTube videos stay behind a click-to-play placeholder until you press play. Google Maps links open Google's service. Fonts, video placeholders, and map links are part of how the page works and are not covered by the measurement choice.
Tickets and Tixr
Ticket buttons open the official Tixr checkout. Tixr's own terms and privacy policy apply there. The organizer reports that the event's Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API are enabled in Tixr Studio. This website cannot independently confirm a completed purchase and never emits Purchase or revenue events.
Your choices
The banner on your first visit decides whether the four providers load, and you can change that decision below at any time. Turning measurement off signals withdrawal to the providers and expires the measurement cookies this site set; the anonymous count continues, because it cannot identify you. If you want nothing recorded at all, including that count, send Global Privacy Control — your browser or a privacy extension can enable it, it overrides any stored choice, and it hides the banner entirely. Your choice is stored only in this browser, so clearing browser storage brings the question back.
Retention and advertising settings
The Google Analytics property is configured for 14-month event-data retention, with Google signals and ad personalization off and no Google Ads account linked. We use these tools for aggregate reporting and campaign measurement, not to build on-site user profiles. Provider retention and controls may also apply.
Changes and contact
If our data practices change, this page changes with them. The site owner reviews privacy questions through the festival's public contact channels.
